Hawaiian Volcanoes National Park was founded in August 1916. The park is located in the state of Hawaii on the Big Island of Hawaii.

The Hawaiian Volcanoes National Park is an environmental park. It is over 333 acres in size extending 66 miles. Five volcanos make up the island of Hawaii: Kohala, Mauna Kea, Haulalai, Mauna Loa, and Kilauea.
